Think yourself to good health.

Good health is not only determined by the foods we consume, but also by what we allow our minds to consume.

There is an ancient proverb that states "as a man thinks, so is he".  This statement says that man is mind and mind is man. Man is what he/she thinks about all day.  What are we thinking? How are our thoughts affecting our lives and more specifically our health?  We have been conditioned to think sickness.  All around us are messages that draw our attention to diagnoses and conditions.  We are bombarded with TV ads about medications and treatments for particular diseases.  We don't realize that as we passively listen to these suggestions, our subconscious minds/hearts are being programmed to think on these things even when we are not "thinking" on these things.  If I am what I think, it is imperative that I watch my thoughts so that I am what I truly desire.  Some people have no idea how they got into the conditioned state they are currently experiencing. I can tell you unequivocally that it is due to either your own way of thinking or someone else's influence or suggestions on your thought life.  To heal or to avoid any unhealthy condition, there must be a change in the mental activities that go on in our minds. Out of the subconscious mind/heart are the issues of life.  This simply means that whatever has been planted in the depths of our being whether consciously or unconsciously, we will live them out.  The heart is like the ground, it takes in seeds on all kinds.  If not careful, we can allow the wrong thing to grow and to produce negative circumstances in our lives.  The solution is to fill our minds with things that are lovely, peaceful, happy, and healthy.  Guard your heart with all diligence.  Your conscious mind is the gatekeeper.  Put it to work that it may guard against any influences that are contrary to your health and well-being. Beloved, I wish above all things that you prosper and be in health as your soul prospers.
